H.E. Erlan A. Idrissov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to USA and Canada

H.E. Ambassador Idrissov is a graduate of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. A renowned diplomat since Soviet times, he was among the first to represent Kazakhstan as a newly independent state at the United Nations, in 1997-1999 he served as the Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister of Kazakhstan, and in 1999-2002 as the Minister. In 2002-2007 Ambassador Idrissov was assigned to the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden and Ireland, and in July 2007 to US & Canada.
