The Ukrainian Studies Program at Columbia University presents "Ukraine's Current Political Situation: Crisis or Normal Democratic Development?" Less than three weeks ago, the President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, fired his Cabinet and removed top officials accused of corruption. The following panel speakers will discuss Ukraine's political situation in the aftermath of this action: Volodymyr Kulyk(National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Stanford University), Alexander Motyl (Rutgers University), and Steve Sestanovich (Columbia University). Moderated by Yuri Shevchuk (Columbia University).
