Half of the Articles in the Current Issue of Pushkin Review Contributed by Harriman Alumni

Half of the six articles in the current issue of Pushkin Review (18-19) were penned by Columbia Slavic Ph.D.s, all of whom are former Harriman Junior Fellows. The conributors are: Bella Grigoryan (Assistant Professor of Russian, Bryn Mawr College), author of Noble Subjects: The Russian Novel and the Gentry, 1762–1861 (Northern Illinois University Press, 2018, Studies of the Harriman Institute); Maksim Hanukai (Assistant Professor, University of Wisconsin, and former Harriman Postdoctoral Fellow), who is revising his dissertation on Pushkin's Tragic Visions for book publication; Jonathan Brooks Platt (Docent, HSE, St. Petersburg), author of Greetings, Pushkin!: Stalinist Cultural Politics and the Russian National Bard (Pittsburgh University Press, 2016; Studies of the Harriman Institute).
