Please join us for an evening with Kirill Medvedev, a poet, socialist activist, and musician from Moscow. He is the founder the Free Marxist Press and the lead singer of Arkady Kots. His first book in English, It’s No Good: Poems/Essays/Actions, was published by n+1 and Ugly Duckling in 2013. His poetry collection, Attack on City Hall, won the Andrei Bely Prize in 2014. His most recent book of essays, Anti-Fascism for Everyone, was published by the Free Marxist Press in 2017.
