Please join the Harriman Institute to celebrate the publication of the first two volumes of Anna Frajlich’s Wiersze zebrane (Collected Verse), published in 2022 by Forma Publishers (Szczecin, Poland). Frajlich will read a selection from all periods of her poetry in the original Polish, including a large number of poems devoted to her adopted home, New York City. The Polish originals will be accompanied by English translations.

Anna Frajlich, Senior Lecturer Emerita in Polish, is the author of over a dozen books of poetry in the original Polish and bilingual editions in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Ukrainian.

Ronald Meyer, the editor of Frajlich’s Ghost of Shakespeare: Collected Essays, will read the English translations and chair the event.
