Ukraine in Ruins: 1941-42, 2022

Harriman Institute Atrium 12th floor International Affairs Building, 420 W 118th St, New York

The exhibit consists of 18 black and white acrylic-and-pen paintings, 9”x12”, on canvas sheets. Seven depict central Kyiv in ruins in 1941-1942, as a result of explosions set off by the retreating Soviets; eleven depict Ukraine in ruins in 2022, as a result of Russia’s genocidal war.
