Alexander Cooley Interviewed about New Book on ABC Radio Australia

Alexander Cooley (Director of the Harriman Institute) was interviewed by Phillip Adams on ABC Australian Radio about the unravelling of the US global order and his forthcoming book, Exit from Hegemony  Oxford University Press (28 February 2020).

Since his election as US President, Donald Trump has actively undermined the standing of the American-led international order. His criticism of long-term allies, of NATO and other important security relationships and openly siding with authoritarian leaders have been significant. But Alexander Cooley argues in a new book called Exit from Hegemony, that the United States has been unravelling as a global power for some years.
