Daniel Petrick (MARS '20): "On Belgrade-Kosovo Bus, Ethnic Tensions Take a Backseat"

Wednesday, August 14, 2019

Daniel Petrick (MARS '20) interviewed riders on the Belgrade-Dagrash bus from late May to mid-July. The result is an article for Balkaninsight.com about how, despite ethnic tensions between Kosovo and Serbia, Kosovars and Serbians seem to relate to each other on an individual level. Petrick spent the summer in Prizren, Kosovo on a PepsiCo Travel/Research Grant researching the city's Albanian/Turkish/Bosnian multilingual culture for his Master's thesis.
