The Fall 2018 issue of the Harriman Magazine is now online. This issue opens with four pieces connected to the Harriman Institute's new oral history project, "Cold Wars and the Academy: An Oral History on Russian and Eurasian Studies." Next up is a photo essay, contributed by former Harriman postdoctoral fellow Elidor Mëhilli. And last but not least, a profile of journalist Elena Kostyuchenko, our 2018 Paul Klebnikov Fellow, accompanied by a translation of Kostyuchenko's essay on the Hovrino Abandoned Hospital (HZB), translated by Columbia Slavic alumna, Bela Shayevich. Photos for the HZB essay, as well as the cover photo, courtesy of Moscow-based photographer, Anna Artemeva. You can pick up an issue at our office or read the PDF.
