New Interviews with Poet Anna Frajlich and Reviews of Her Work

On Thursday, August 27, Szczecińskie Czwartki Literackie (Szczecin Literary Thursdays), broadcast an interview with Anna Frajliich (Senior Lecturer Emerita ) conducted by Damian Romaniak, cultural critic for the Szczecin Kurier. Frajllich talks about her recent book of poetry, W pośpiechu rzeka płynie (The River Rushes Past), growing up in Szczecin, exile and her life in New York, among other topics. In addition, she reads poems from her new collection. Polish Radio 2 also interviewed Frajlich about her new book, which was also reviewed in the Kurier in April. Finally, an advance review of Frajlich's forthcoming The Ghost of Shakespeare: Collected Essays, edited by Ronald Meyer, was published by the Kurier August 27. In the reviewer's opinion the volume will prove to be "the author's magnum opus as literary scholar and writer more generally." IN POLISH.
