Jordan Waller
MARS-REERS
Prior to enrolling in the Harriman Institute’s MARS-REERS program, Jordan spent a year working in Uzbekistan as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant and two years producing the podcasts Pod Save America and Pod Save the World. In Uzbekistan, she worked at Tashkent State Pedagogical University and focused on helping students develop their writing and conversational skills. Jordan is particularly interested in how government policy is communicated, justified, and reproduced for mass audiences in Central Asia (with a focus on Uzbekistan) and how individuals respond to these government narratives and shape the opinions of those in their networks.
