Her biographical study “Nikolai Leskov: The Neglected Genius” (Лесков. Прозёванный гений) is a groundbreaking work. Her recent publications include the collection of Christmas stories “An Incident at the Masquerade” (Случай в маскараде). Kucherskaya is a laureate of multiple prestigious literary awards.

Beyond her writing, she is a professor at Henan University and the founder of the Creative Writing School, a pioneering project dedicated to teaching literary skills in Russia.
