Announcing Next Co-Director of ECEC
May 25, 2021

We are pleased to announce that Christopher Caes will be returning to co-direct our East Central European Center with Aleksandar Bošković on July 1, 2021. Caes is a scholar of Polish literature and culture, Polish intellectual history, Polish cinema, and Central and East European literary and cultural theory. He previously led the Center from 2018 to 2020 and we are excited to welcome him back!

We would like to thank Christopher Harwood for his co-leadership of the Center over the past two years. He has greatly enriched its spirit and programming, co-organizing events such as a webinar series on the Romanian Avant-Garde and a very successful virtual film series on East Central European Film that has been a great joy to attend throughout the pandemic.
