Elise Giuliano (Lecturer in Political Science, Director of the MARS-REERS Program) is quoted in Science News in an article on the development of Ukrainian identity over the past 30 years (April 12, 2022). Titled “Ukrainian Identity Solidified for 30 Years. Putin Ignored the Science,” the article makes extensive use of Giuliano’s research on identity and public opinion in Ukraine along with that of colleagues from a special issue of Post-Soviet Affairs (2018).
