Please join the Harriman Institute for a talk with the Harriman Institute’s 2025 Klebnikov Civil Society Fellow Farida Rustamova. Moderated by Keith Gessen.
Farida Rustamova has been working in political journalism for more than 10 years. She has worked at the most prominent independent media in Russia (RBC, Meduza, TV Rain (Dozhd), BBC Russian Service). As a correspondent, Rustamova has worked on articles and investigations about Putin’s family, high-ranking officials, and other members of the political elite. Rustamova worked for several years as a reporter in the Russian parliament and government. Her essays were published by The New York Times and Financial Times. Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine she has been running “Faridaily,” a media project focused on Russian power.
