Harriman Residents in Paris Natalka Bilotserkivets and Zoya Laktionova in Conversation

Expanding on a conversation published in Notebook,  Ukrainian poet Natalka Bilotserkivets and filmmaker Zoya Laktionova talk about life and art during wartime, in the latest of the Columbia University Institute for Ideas and Imagination’s regular series of “Library Chats.” Their initial conversation and collage can be found in Issue 2 of Notebook, available now in select stores.

Bilotserkivets and Laktionova are both currently Harriman Residents at Columbia Global Center | Paris and the Institute for Ideas and Imagination. They will be coming to the Harriman Institute in late March for a special evening of discussion and celebration at Low Library, Art in Time of War: Celebrating the Resilience of Ukrainian Culture (March 27), and a poetry reading and discussion of Bilotserkivets’s work, Eccentric Days of Hope and Sorrow: An Evening With Ukrainian Poet Natalka Bilotserkivets (March 31).
