Padma Desai’s (Gladys and Roland Harriman Professor Emerita of Comparative Economic Systems)Â “Russian Political Humor in Comparative Perspective” appears in the Summer 2020 issue of The International Economy. The essay had its origins in a series of lectures that Professor Desai gave during a lecture tour of Australia in 2020 as guest of the Australian Economic Association.
