Azat Bilalutdinov

Azat Bilalutdinov is a PhD student at the History Department. His dissertation research deals with the history of the Russian foreign ministry in the late Tsarist period. In particular Azat’s research focuses on expert knowledge, legal and economic aspects of Russian foreign policy in the Ottoman Empire and the Middle East. His broader research interests include: the Black Sea region, Russian-Ottoman relations, international history and memory studies.
