Ms. Kostyuchenko is a Special Correspondent with Novaya Gazeta in Russia, and was in residence at the Harriman Institute in March and April of 2018. Ms. Kostyuchenko has reported extensively about conflicts, protests, and LGBT rights. In addition to her work at Novaya Gazeta, she has been a lecturer on journalism ethics at International University in Moscow and served as correspondent and editor at the newspaper Severny Krai. Ms. Kostyuchenko studied journalism at Moscow State University from 2004-2010.
