Mike’s focus is on Russia and Eastern Europe with an emphasis on Russia’s weaponizing of disinformation. He worked at the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia for two months as an intern for the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) Croatia, which is responsible to the U.S. Ambassador to Croatia and the military Commander, U.S. European Command for administering all Security Assistance, International Armaments Cooperation, and certain military to military programs in Croatia. He also worked in the U.S. European Command for a month in Stuttgart, Germany assisting with coordinating multiple efforts between NATO, U.S. Embassies throughout Europe, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, and the U.S. Department of State.
