The Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies proudly announced that Peter Clement has been appointed Interim Director. Clement has been a senior member of the Institute since 2018; previously he was a Visiting Professor at SIPA from 2012-2015. A Russia expert and Harriman Faculty Member, Clement teaches courses on Contemporary Russian Security Policy and Intelligence and Foreign Policy, and has won several teaching awards for his courses. Clement also directs the Institute’s initiative, “Emerging Voices in National Security and Intelligence.”
