Anna Frajlich‘s (Senior Lecturer, Emerita) “Flight from Lviv” (Uciec ze Lwowa) heads a selection of a half-dozen poems under the title Polish Poets on Ukraine published on the website of the Polish Pen Club. Frajlich’s poem tells of her family’s flights from Lviv (Lwow) in 1914, and again in World War II, and ends with the poet watching mothers and their children rushing to the train station in Lviv.
