Anna Frajlich-Zajac is Senior Lecturer, Emerita of the Department of Slavic Languages at Columbia University. She emigrated from Poland with her husband and son in 1969 as part of the Jewish “exodus.” Her interests include Polish literature and culture, poetry, and the literature of exile. She received her MA in Polish literature from Warsaw University, and defended her Ph.D. dissertation in the Slavic Department of New York University in 1990.
