The latest issue of “Asia Policy,” a journal published by the National Bureau of Asian Research, features a book review roundtable featuring five responses to Alexander Cooley’s latest work, “Dictating the Agenda: The Authoritarian Resurgence in World Politics,” co-authored with Alexander Dukalskis.
In “Dictating the Agenda,” Cooley and Dukalskis discuss the rising influence of authoritarian states and how these states have achieved a wave of anti-liberal norms in new and traditionally liberal global spaces. The review roundtable features the responses of Aurel Croissant, Julia Bader, John J. Chin, Jessica C. Teets and Emilie M. Hafner-Burton.
