Anne Posten translates prose and poetry from German. The recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship, her translations of authors such as Peter Bichsel, Carl Seelig, Thomas Brasch, Tankred Dorst, Anna Katharina Hahn, and Anja Kampmann have appeared with Catapult, New Directions, Chicago University Press, Music and Literature, n+1, and VICE, among others. Her translation of Anja Kampmann’s High as the Waters Rise was shortlisted for the National Book Award. She is based in Berlin.

Meghan Forbes works as a writer, curator, translator, and gardener. She is currently completing a book-length manuscript Technologies for the Revolution: The Czech Avant-Garde in Print and is simultaneously at work on a second monograph on the life and work of the dancer and anti-fascist activist Míra Holzbachová. Dr. Forbes is also co-curator of a retrospective exhibition on the Prague-born, German Jewish photographer Lucia Moholy, which opens at the Kunsthalle Praha in May 2024. She received her PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and since held postdoctoral fellowships at The Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She is the sole editor of the volume International Perspectives on Publishing Platforms: Image, Object, Text (Routledge, 2019).
