Isaac Stackhouse Wheeler (M.A. Russian Translation ’13) and Reilly Costigan-Humes were awarded the 2022 EBRD Literature Prize for their translation of Serhiy Zhadan’s The Orphanage (Yale University Press, 2021). The prize comes with a purse of €20,000, split between author and translator.
