The May-June 2023 issue of World Literature Today includes Anna Frajlich’s poem “Real Books,” translated into English by Piotr Florczyk. Anna Frajlich (Senior Lecturer Emerita in Polish) is an award-winning Polish poet and writer. Her work includes eighteen books of poetry, some of which have been translated into English, French, Italian, Ukrainian, and Spanish. For over thirty years she taught Polish language and literature at Columbia University. Piotr Florczyk is a multilingual poet, translator, and critic.
