According to BookTok celebrity Jack Edwards, his TikTok review of Dostoevsky’s White Nights has garnered 2 million views. The author of the translation is not mentioned, but the book Edwards shows and reads from is Ronald Meyer‘s translation, first published by Penguin in 2010 in the collection The Gambler and Other Stories. The volume Edwards displays and reads from is the 2016 Little Black Classics edition. According to Edwards, the book became a #1 Bestseller on Amazon UK, causing the publisher to go back to the presses.
