3 Questions with Rebecca Unger (MARS-REERS ’20)
April 20, 2021

Rebecca Unger is an MA student at the Harriman Institute. In the picture, she is wearing a traditional hat from Central Asia at the annual Harriman Institute holiday party.

What do you miss most about the Harriman Institute while socially distancing?
The people!

What are you reading and/or listening to right now?
My late friend Michael Seidenberg used to write a column for The New Inquiry called “Unsolicited Advice for Living in the End Times,” so I’ve been revisiting that. I’ve also been re-reading Petersburg by Andrei Bely.

What is your favorite experience related to the region?
Visiting Abramtsevo. It’s a magical place.

Check back regularly to meet other Harriman students.
