We would like to congratulate Frank Sysyn, a member of our Ukrainian Studies Program Advisory Board, on receiving the 2026 ASEEES Distinguished Contributions to Slavic, East European and Eurasian Studies Award. Sysyn is a Professor of History and Classics and Director of the Peter Jacyk Centre for Ukrainian Historical Studies at the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Alberta. He will be recognized at the 2026 ASEEES Annual Convention.
