Nicole Eaton (Harriman Postdoctoral Research Fellow, 2013-14) was awarded the Reginald Zelnik Book Prize for her monograph German Book, Slavic Soil: How Nazi Koningsberg Became Soviet Kalingrad (Cornell University Press, 2023). Eaton currently holds the position of Associate Professor of History at Boston College.
Egor Lazarev (Political Science Ph.D. ’18) was awarded the Wayne S. Vucinich Book Prize for his State-Building as Lawfare: Custom, Sharia, and State Law in Postwar Chechnya (Cambridge University Press, 2023). Lazarev is currently Assistant Professor of Political Science at Yale University.
