NLO (The New Literary Observer), the Moscow literary journal, published an extensive report by Ilja Kukuj (Germany) on the Harriman Institute’s conference “Blind Spots of the Counter-Canon: Soviet Underground Culture Revisited” (February 2023). The three-day conference was organized by Columbia’s Mark Lipovetsky, along with colleagues from Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland.
