Tanya Domi was interviewed on TVP World about the massive protest movement in Belgrade, which unfolded after the collapse of a train station canopy 10 months ago that resulted in the deaths of 16 people. The movement has gained massive traction among Serbia’s youth, who are rallying against systemic corruption and a difficult labor market, and Domi says its sustained power “outstrips anything” in Serbian history.
Domi also discusses Serbia’s chances of EU membership, concluding that it does not have the qualifications to join at this stage, particularly with respect to rule of law.
