For the past few months we have been working on changes to Harriman Magazine under the leadership of editor-in-chief Ann Cooper, a former Moscow correspondent (for NPR) who has also served as executive director of the Committee to Protect Journalists and taught at Columbia Journalism School.
The result is “Ukraine Beyond the Battlefield,” which marks the second anniversary of Russia’s war against Ukraine by examining the role of culture during war time and analyzing the full-scale war’s impact on academia—and on the Harriman itself.
Please take a look at the digital version and pick up a print copy in our office! You can subscribe to the digital magazine at the bottom of our Harriman Magazine webpage.
We would love to hear your feedback and pitches for future issues. Please submit to Masha Udensiva-Brenner: mu2159@columbia.edu
